Overview

Coates Solicitors is a reputable and client-focused law firm offering expert legal services across a range of practice areas. We are seeking a proactive and organised Junior Office Administrator to join our supportive team. As a Junior Office Administrator,  you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative needs of the firm, as well as providing general office support, assisting our legal staff and helping to maintain an efficient, professional office environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Answer and direct incoming calls and emails
  • Handle incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
  • Maintain and update client records, client files (Physical and Digital)
  • Assist with scheduling meetings and managing calendars
  • Photocopying, scanning, filing and archiving documents
  • Order and monitor office supplies
  • Provide administrative support to legal staff as required

Requirements

  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work in a busy environment
  • Friendly, approachable and professional attitude
  • Willingness to learn and take directions
  • Previous office or administrative experience (preferred but not essential)
